So I saw some photos on Facebook (I think), which were of a subject in colour with the background in black & white, so I thought I’ll have a go at that.

So a quick google search later & I found this quick tutorial on youtube:

How to make background black & white in PhotoShop

Now this tutorial is based on Photoshop CS6, whilst I’m using PhotoShop CC 2015.5 so it’s worth checking that this will work on your version of PhotoShop.
